Naming

"Mleeta," attributed to the original name of the region, is the mountain where the strivers (Mujahideen) had garrisoned during the entire period of the Israeli occupation of south Lebanon until liberation took place in 2000. It is thought that the origin of the word "Mleeta" is Syriac, in which it means “repletion.”
